Previously, Andrew practiced intellectual property litigation at Latham & Watkins, LLP. He also represented pro bono clients in landlord-tenant and civil forfeiture litigation. Prior to law school, Andrew worked as an information technology consultant, developing diamond, gas, and unemployment insurance tracking systems using a variety of programming languages. Andrew is also a published author. While in law school, he published a Note on analyzing the legality of acquiring and data mining call records which can be found in 17 Duke J. Comp. & Int'l L. 441 (2007). Andrew has also published an Article discussing how bankruptcy can impact the poor which can be found at 25 Emory Bankr. Dev. J. 407 (2009).
